We conducted our second fair test with the snails and this time they were a little more active for us! The question we were investigating was, do snails prefer rough or smooth surfaces? We had sand paper, wax paper, a tray, and a snail as our materials. Since our snails weren't very active last time, we decided to put them closer to the materials this time :)
We are moving on to WORMS! We started off by looking at a type of earthworm known as the redworm. We looked at it's parts and learned that worms don't have eyes! They use their other senses to help them move. We also observed how they move and saw what happens when something is blocking their path. We noticed that worms move from both their "head" and their "tail" end. We also noticed that they are excellent climbers! |
