We were all so BRAVE this week! Each student got up in front of the class and did their final "All About Me" presentation. When they were finished, the audience gave each speaker 3 compliments either about their poster or their speaking. It was a tough week to be a respectful audience, but they pulled it together and were able to really listen with engaged brains to all the presentations. We did 3 presentations at a time over 3 different points during the day. By the end, we were able to see so many similarities and differences among us and our classmates. Whether is was a similar favorite food, having the same age sibling, living in a different neighborhood, or having different color hair, we learned a lot about each other.
It is all coming together! We worked really hard to piece together all of the components of our "All About Me" poster. These posters will serve as a talking and reference point when we do our final presentations sharing who we are with the class. Here are the components and speaking points we will be hitting in our presentations. - Self- Portrait - Favorite foods - Home - Family - Things we love We did a our last practice presentation and we noticed a lot of us have gotten a lot better at facing the audience! We will be doing our final presentations next week and taking our posters home at conferences. I can't wait for us to learn more about all all of our room 210 friends. |
